How it works

01 — Go spot birds

Anywhere in Greater Brisbane

Your backyard, New Farm Park, Moreton Island, the D'Aguilar Range — anywhere within the Greater Brisbane boundary counts. Keep an eye and an ear out.

02 — Log what you see

One entry per species

Record the species, date and suburb on the Log a Sighting page. Only your first sighting of each species adds to your tally.

03 — Chase the fifty

Climb the leaderboard

Track your tally on the Leaderboard. Log all 50 official Brisbane Air 50 species and your name goes up in the Hall of Fame.
