Finisher Rewards

Only 50 will ever exist

Confirm all 50 official Brisbane Air 50 species and, if you're one of the first fifty to do it, Georgie posts you a real, physical coin — a personal thank-you, never sold, and never available any other way.

Front of the Brisbane Air 50 finisher's coin: a gold wedge-tailed eagle banking over the Brisbane skyline and river, with "Brisbane Air 50 — Master" in gold lettering, ringed by the seven tier colours.

Front

Kept under wraps until the first Air Veteran is confirmed — could be you. The moment it happens, the whole world sees the coin's front, all at once.

Back of the Brisbane Air 50 finisher's coin: an engraved magnifying-glass logo above the finisher's name, "Air Master", a finisher number, and the message "Stay curious. Look closer. Yours curiously, Georgie."

Back

Personalised with your name and finisher number — this side's final.

Prototype pictured — the coin each of the first 50 finishers receives may differ slightly in its final production run.

How you earn one

Log and confirm all 50 official Brisbane Air 50 species and you're eligible for the Hall of Fame — no cap, no matter when you finish. The coin is different: only the first fifty people inducted receive one, in the order Georgie confirms them. If you're among them, once your induction goes up Georgie posts your coin to the address you gave at registration — engraved with your display name, and numbered by your place in that first fifty.

Only fifty, ever

No reprint, no second batch, no exceptions — once fifty are gone, you won't get a #051. There's no way to buy, win, or request one outside the challenge itself: the only way in is confirming all 50 species inside the first fifty Hall of Famers. Even if the world's richest person offered a hundred bitcoin for one, the answer would still be no — reserved for people who've done something genuinely impressive, not bought by whoever's willing to pay the most. Finish outside the first fifty and you're still rightfully in the Hall of Fame — just without a coin.

The same rule will hold for every other Brisbane 250 discipline as they launch: fifty coins each, for that discipline's own first fifty finishers, and nothing more.

Why the front is hidden

The back is final, so there's nothing to spoil — it's shown as-is above. The front's design stays behind the silhouette site-wide until the first participant reaches Air Veteran (40 confirmed species), at which point it's revealed here for everyone, finisher or not. Reaching Air Veteran doesn't get you a coin on its own — that still takes finishing all 50 inside the first fifty — but it does mean the wait for what the coin looks like is over.
